Please find below a formal notice from Avery Dennison outlining the reason for the colour shift in selected matte materials:
"For reasons beyond our control, a raw material component change was required on Avery Dennison matte products.Due to the component change, we have discovered a slight shift in color and finish in some SW900 Supreme Wrapping Film™, Digital Overlaminates (DOL), HP750 and SC900/950 products. This color shift will lead to an internal adjustment to our color baseline on the impacted products.
The component change is effective as of April 3, 2023."

This dramatic image was flipped on it’s side to create an unsettling perspective. The rectangular shapes layered on the top are a luster overlaminate which add an element of subtle contrast to the print media’s finish. All films were installed using the ROLLOVER flatbed applicator producing a flawless finish.

Cut vinyl colours in various finishes provide the necessary depth and gravity for this image and are often the preferred choice for spot colour jobs and logos.
By combining high gloss, matt, and metallic finishes interest is added to this graphic panel.
During the early part of the Atomic age, specifically in the 1960’s computer aided cutting technology did not exist and this particular image would have been hand painted with One-Shot Lettering enamel , a product which ND Graphics continues to distribute today.

This dramatic image is both compellingly dramatic and awash with soft nuanced colour. Printed on Drytac Retac on a Canvas finish with the Canon Colorado printer incredible textural effects are achieved. The close cropped image is contrasted with the brilliant yellow film which was applied first with the Rollover Flatbed applicator yielding a perfectly smooth background for the canvas overlay.
