Please find below a formal notice from 3M™ announcing the discontinuation of the production of select 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic Reflective Sheeting (EGP) products effective May 31, 2023

"As 3M continues to take steps we are taking to improve manufacturing and operational efficiency to better serve you. 

3M will be discontinuing certain 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic™ products effective May 31, 2023. Customers are encouraged to consider transitioning to alternative products as soon as possible. The following table provides the discontinued products and suggested alternatives:

  • 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic ™ (EGP) 3430 white
  • 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic ™ (EGP) 3431 yellow
  • 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic ™ (EGP) 3437 green

The updated 3M™ Engineer Grade Prismatic™ products:

  • are the same price as the previous product
  • may have a surface which appears slightly glossier (less “matte”) than

Current product

  • still meet the ASTM D4956 Type I specifications
  • have been qualified as compatible with the HP365 digital printer and will continue to be compatible with 3M screen print inks"
