Take Action Now: Support Our Local Workers and Communities
“In response to the COVID-19 outbreak, ND Graphics has put significant resources in place to do our part in protecting the health of all of our staff across Canada as well as the health and safety of our customers. We know we are an essential service for many of our customers who are providing important signage applications to the medical institutions and related businesses. You have my personal commitment as well as the commitment of all of our people throughout the organization that we will maintain our high service standards and continue to provide support to all of you during these difficult times.”

Be Proactive and Support Your Community
During this time, it’s important that we all do our part in supporting our community and essential businesses. To get involved, try non-profit printing for your community, small organizations, or local girls and boys’ clubs. It is a great opportunity to give back, while using up partial rolls or off-cuts.
Something as simple as a free sign could be very important to a small business. Help raise awareness for the public about safety practices, delivery of local products/services, or simply supportive signage for our front-line workers.
See this great example of community support from Dynamic Graffix in Corunna, Ontario. Tracey Manchester and husband Derek, owners of the company, took action and printed signs to show support for frontline workers and volunteers. Read more of their story here.
Westmount Signs and Printing, a shop based in Waterloo, Ontario, also created signage to show their appreciation for the community.
For product recommendations on how you can also create similar signage and graphics, please visit our post on “Getting the Message Out“.
3D Printed Surgical Mask Straps
Another great way to get involved and take action is to 3D print mask straps for healthcare workers. Wearing a mask for 12+ hours a day can be painful for their ears. These mask straps hold the elastic off their ears. You can find the file link below if you would like to start creating these with your 3D printer at home!

Templates for Social Distancing Floor Graphics
You can also print out your own social distancing floor decals for small businesses, grocery stores, retail, and more. These will give customers visual cues in order to maintain a safe distance from others in public areas, thus ensuring their safety.
