Customer Service representative Eric Brown was thrilled to greet you!

Another Consac has come and gone…

and here at ND Graphics the feeling is bitter sweet.  Getting prepared for the show was hectic, but our entire sales team had a great time meeting customers and suppliers in our booth! In case you weren’t able to make it.

Here are some highlights:

At the reception desk we were waiting, ready to answer questions, or to offer candy, bags, pens and water,  as well as encourage everyone to register for our Live Auction!

Let’s talk window films…

New this year, our acrylic walled leasing office provided an office space for customers to come and discuss equipment, and also showed off some of our most popular window films.  ContraVision3M 8150Avery MPI 2528 , DreamScape GlassTex IceCatalina Hi-Stat and Catalina Sign-Ad were combined to create a visually stunning display.

Window films were a highlight this year with our leasing office!

It’s Auction time!

For the second year, the main feature in our booth was our Live Auction, complete with a professional auctioneer!  We kicked off the excitement early this year, however, with an online auction so that customers from coast to coast could take part in the fun, and support a great cause!

$25,000 for SickKids Foundation!

All proceeds from both the live and online auctions are being donated to SickKids Foundation. With the help of our suppliers, who donated some great products, and the support of our customers, we managed to raise $25,000!

Everyone can be a hero at $2 per sample.

Customers could also support SickKids by donating 2 dollars for each printed sample!

Agfa M1600

On the equipment side of the booth, we printed samples on the Agfa M1600 all day long, impressing many with high speed printing and white ink!

 Interactive Opportunities with Augmented Reality!

Customers were wowed when printed graphics sprung to life during demonstrations of Augmented Reality! Little green men walking around the booth, and colourful dragons climbing through ruins captured everyone’s imaginations! I’ll be covering this fully in an upcoming blog series, but click here for a peak at what a company called String Augmented Reality is doing.

Coming up Next…

More on Augmented Reality technology, where it’s going and how you can keep up! Stay tuned!
